Before buying any bird make sure it is the right one for you. If you choose the wrong type of parrot, you will be unhappy and the parrot may get neglected. African Grey (hand-reared) Parrots can make wonderful, lively, intelligent pets, but it is important to make sure that they are hand-reared and cuddly-tame. I raise all my baby African Greys in small clutches so that each one gets lots of human attention at a very early age to ensure that the parrots are completely tame & will have a wonderful life in any home.

Black-Headed Caiques are without a doubt, one of the most charming of all parrots with an average live span of 30-40 years. These outgoing, energetic birds make great companions for households containing children. Toys, toys and more toys are a must for these playful birds. Caiques are inquisitive and fearless little birds and will often hop around on the floor investigating everything in sight. They are able to mimic a few words but the real charm is the affectionate nature of these delightful little birds.
